Key Responsibilities
•Community Engagement:
•Organize and facilitate online events such as webinars, workshops, and AMA sessions to engage current students and alumni.
•Create, moderate, and manage discussions in our Slack, Discord, or other community channels.
•Act as the first point of contact for student queries and direct them to appropriate resources or teams.
•Student Support:
•Assist students in navigating Metana’s bootcamp resources and offerings.
•Organize peer learning groups and study sessions to boost collaboration.
•Monitor student feedback and proactively address concerns to enhance the learning experience.
•Alumni Relations:
•Cultivate a strong alumni network by organizing events, sharing job opportunities, and encouraging mentorship programs.
•Build relationships with alumni to track their success stories and share them across Metana’s platforms.
•Content Creation:
•Work closely with the marketing team to produce engaging community-focused content, including newsletters, blog posts, and social media updates.
•Contribute to the development of community guidelines, resources, and FAQs.
•Metrics & Improvement:
•Track community engagement metrics and use insights to improve strategies.
•Regularly report on the health and growth of the community to key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
•1-3 years of experience in community management, student engagement, or a similar role.
•Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fostering meaningful relationships.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
•Familiarity with tools like Slack, Discord, or other community platforms.
•Knowledge of the tech or education industry is a plus.
